SACNAS Chapter Information
Student chapters enhance year-round mentorship and networking opportunities for SACNAS student members. Through participation in SACNAS chapters, students, postdocs, faculty, and chapter advisors gain ongoing, local support for their development as scientists and science leaders. Chapter members are encouraged to share information, resources, and peer-to-peer mentorship, as well as to take part in opportunities to give back to their communities and develop leadership skills. The annual conference and regional meetings provide venues for chapter members from universities and communities across the country connect with one another. Chapter News

Chapter officers may access the annual report form online; it is the responsibility of chapter officers to submit the annual report by the deadline to prevent the chapter from becoming inactive. (NOTE: chapters in inactive status, are not included in the chapter web page listings, and are ineligible for grant funding or for SACNAS awards.) To qualify for SACNAS National Conference recognition and awards, chapter annual reports must be submitted by May 28 . To maintain "Active Status" for the 2010-2011 academic year, chapter annual reports must be submitted by June 30 .
