SACNAS Leadership Program

The objective of the SACNAS Leadership Program, including the Summer Leadership Institute and Conference Leadership Workshops, is to develop the next generation of underrepresented minority scientists whose leadership contributions will serve to strengthen and unify our communities at the national and local levels. The institutes prepare participants to assume leadership roles in the global scientific community by offering advanced strategic trainings that develop critical leadership skills.

Program Overview
The SACNAS Leadership Program is an ambitious, year-round initiative aimed at strengthening the leadership skills of SACNAS postdocs and science professionals. The summer institute and conference workshops are developed and sponsored in collaboration with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
