During the annual national conference, SACNAS offers a rich day-long leadership training. The conference workshop series may be attended as stand-alone trainings or, for more in-depth engagement in professional leadership development, participants are encouraged to take part in the summer institute and conference workshops over one or more years.

All postdocs and professionals are encouraged to attend this interactive and inspirational workshop series on Thursday, September 30, 2010. Note: Interested postdocs who require assistance with travel and/or lodging expenses for the conference should apply for one of the available conference travel scholarships by April 30 via MySACNAS; see the conference travel scholarship page for details.

Building off of the excitement from the previous leadership activities, the 2010 conference workshops feature top-notch facilitators covering an array of topics critical to the further development of leadership skills. Special emphasis is placed on both 1) career-level specific challenges and 2) broader leadership development themes.
